WebI'm 5'6" and a Gatewood Cape has served as my primary desert shelter for about 5-6 years. Probably 50ish nights actually using it as a shelter and 20ish daytime storms in poncho mode. As a poncho, it's meh at best. It billows a lot, and it's just a ton of material - easy to drag on the ground if you're my height.
