WebSt George's church is built on high ground at the west end of the village. The base of the tower is Saxon, but the rest was started by the Normans in the 11th century. The remainder of the church is 13th and early 14th century, when work was interrupted by the Black Death. Rollesby's most famous son was Thomas Godwin or Goodwin DD, born 1600.
